At AWA our baby critically endangered Siamese Crocodiles are turning 1 year old soon. As part of their care, they receive regular checkups. This includes weighing and measuring them to monitor their growth and development. It also gives us a good chance to have a look for any other issues.

These babies will continue to grow and develop at AWA before they are big and strong enough to be released. Head starting them like this greatly increases their chance of survival.

The Siamese Crocodile is one of the most endangered crocodile species on the planet. Cambodia is proud to have the largest population, however much more work needs to be done to save them and restore their numbers to a healthy status.
